You can delay your Vista activation for 120 days total by doing the following:

1.) Click on your Start Menu and run: cmd
2.) Type: slmgr -rearm
(this will restart the activation timer for another 30 days, you can do this 3 times)

You can delay your Vista activation for 360 days total by a simple registry hack.

1.) Click on your Start Menu and run: regedit
2.) Browse to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SL
3.) In the right pane, click on SkipRearm and cick Modify.
4.) Change the 0 to a 1
(this will work up to 8 times)
